From Queens to Gods: Little Voices Launches Professional-Level Musical Theatre Experience with SIX
Little Voices West Surrey Presents Their First Ever Full-Scale Musical – And What a Reign It Was!

This summer, something truly spectacular happened at Little Voices West Surrey.

In our first-ever pilot production, we took on one of the biggest modern musicals of our time – SIX the Musical – and turned it into an unforgettable, professional-level experience for our students.

With shows performed at the PP Ainguildford venue and training delivered at the prestigious Italia Conti, this was no ordinary musical theatre workshop. Our young performers were treated like professionals from start to finish – from the rehearsal room to the stage, learning everything from character development and vocal technique to stagecraft, stamina, and ensemble performance.

Each cast performed two full shows in a real theatre setting, gaining firsthand experience of what it's like to be in a West End-style production. And wow… did they rise to the challenge!

How to rehearse and perform a full-length musical
The discipline and focus needed for multiple shows
How to embody powerful historical characters with confidence
Ensemble responsibility and peer collaboration
The thrill (and nerves!) of live performance
From the first rehearsal to the final curtain call, we watched these talented young performers grow in confidence, skill, and stage presence. They brought energy, humour, power, and professionalism to every moment onstage – and the feedback from parents, audiences, and tutors has been overwhelmingly positive.

This pilot wasn't just a learning experience – it was a launchpad. So much so, that we're beyond excited to announce the next production in our musical theatre series:
???? HADESTOWN is coming soon to Little Voices West Surrey! ????????

Yes – we’re going from Queens to Gods, from Tudor sass to mythological magic, and we can’t wait to see our students embrace a whole new style, sound, and story.
